New participants need to complete an enrolment form to join a class or activity at Mitcham Community House. Different classes required different enrolment froms. Below we outline the steps to enrol and address frequently asked questions.
Browse our classes and activities to find the one that suits your interests. We have wide range including art and craft, health and fitness, languages, and children’s activities.
Complete the enrolment form with your details. You can now enrol online. If you wish to enrol on paper please ensure you’ve selected the right enrolment form. Contact us if you need assistance.
Submit your payment for the class or activity to secure your spot. We accept payments online, in person, or over the phone. We also charge a membership fee. You will only pay the membership fee once per year regardless of how many classes you attend.
Enrolling in a class does not automatically guarantee space in a particular class because there are limits on class sizes for the safety and comfort of all class participants. If you submit an enrolment form, our office staff will contact you and provide further information.
Enrolment for the term will be confirmed once you are offered a space and the relevant full-term class fee has been received.
If you are pregnant, you need to check with the tutor if the class is suitable for you. Our Yoga and Pilates classes are not suitable for pregnant women. Please let the tutor know if there is any information that may require special consideration in any class.
Mitcham Community House charges an annual house fee as listed in the Course Guide. This fee will be in addition to normal class fees and will apply to everyone, including one-off workshops. It will be applied only once, even if you attend more than one activity.
Payments for Class Fees and our Annual Fee may be made via cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS. Cheques are made payable to ‘Mitcham Community House’. We can take credit card payments over the phone or in-person. For Bank Transfer, please phone the office for details.
A minimum payment of $10 applies to all card transactions.
